Samantha Canty-Gardner

Samantha Canty-Gardner is a New York City-based professional dancer, choreographer, and teacher. Originally from Michigan, she began dancing and competing at a young age before earning a degree in Musical Theatre from James Madison University.

Since moving to NYC, Samantha has performed Off-Broadway, on National Tours, and in regional theatres nationwide, with favorite credits including 42nd Street, Chicago, Mary Poppins, and The Addams Family. Her choreography has received both regional and national recognition.

Samantha is so excited to share her passion and love for all styles of dance with her students! Her classes are known for being challenging, but with a positive and upbeat atmosphere, which encourages students to step out of their comfort zones and expand their knowledge and appreciation for dance technique, artistry, and musicality.

Alex Canty

Alex Canty is a professional actor and musician in New York City. After graduating from James Madison University with a degree in Musical Theatre, Alex moved to New York City and began his professional performing career.

Alex has been seen in regional theatre productions of "Beauty and the Beast," "Ring of Fire," "Once," and "Million Dollar Quartet" as Carl Perkins, Elvis Presley, and Jerry Lee Lewis. He has also performed in the National Tours of "Million Dollar Quartet" and "Stand By Your Man."

Recently, Alex has begun to delve into the world of film and television, and you can catch him on Lifetime in "Days Like These," Hallmark in "Humbug the Elf," and upcoming TV series "Heavy Hitters.​

Kiva Trumbour

Kiva was born and raised in Massachusetts. She began dancing at a young age and began teaching at her home studio throughout high school and college.

After earning her DTCB Dance Teacher certification, she attended Berklee College of Music, graduating in 2023 with a degree in Professional Music and a minor in Dance from Boston Conservatory.

She continues to choreograph for competitions ranging from soloists to large production numbers. Her choreography has received recognition at both regional and national competitions.

New to New York, and now in her 10th season of teaching, Kiva is excited to keep sharing her love of dance and music with the next generation of dancers!

Madison Mazovec

Madison Mazovec is a New York City–based dancer, educator, and Certified Mat Pilates Instructor. She earned her BFA in Dance from Fordham University in partnership with The Ailey School, along with a minor in Business Administration, graduating in May 2025.

​

As a performer, Madison has appeared in works by acclaimed choreographers including Tamisha A. Guy, Hélène Simoneau, Gabe Katz, Clifford Williams, Kate Skarpetowska, Annie Rigney, and Christopher Huggins. Her performance experience includes the Ailey Citigroup Theater, New York City Center alongside Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater in Memoria, and international training and performance opportunities through the London Contemporary Dance School and Orsolina28, where she performed repertoire by Crystal Pite and Medhi Walerski.

Madison is extensively trained in Ballet, Horton, Graham, Contemporary, Jazz, Tap, and Hip-Hop. She is passionate about helping dancers build strength, alignment, artistry, and confidence. She brings a supportive, energetic, and detail-oriented approach to every class, encouraging students to develop strong technique while embracing creativity and individual expression.

Cecilia Murphy

Cecilia Murphy is a NYC-based professional dancer and performer whose training spans ballet, jazz, contemporary, and musical theatre. She has performed in regional productions of Mamma Mia!, The Little Mermaid, Sister Act, and Cinderella, where she also served as Dance Captain. Cecilia has also trained at the Steps Conservatory in New York City and had the opportunity to work with choreographers including Chet Walker, Josh Bergasse, and Donna McKechnie.

As a teacher, Cecilia is passionate about helping dancers build confidence and discover the performer within themselves. She believes that dance is about more than getting the steps right—it is about connecting to the music, committing to your movement, and bringing your own personality to the room. Cecilia strives to create a supportive and energetic environment where students feel comfortable taking risks, challenging themselves, and growing as performers. She loves sharing the perspective and experience she has gained as a working professional in NYC and hopes to inspire her students to dance with confidence, joy, and individuality.

Katie Rodgers

Katie Rodgers grew up in South Florida performing and entertaining anyone who would watch. Probably a byproduct of having four brothers and three dogs; she had to discover her self identity somehow. Katie is a self proclaimed autodidactic creative, meaning that she is constantly curious about new forms of defining her reality and is always evolving her creative expression. She received her BFA in Drama from NYU Tisch and her MFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design and has performed in countless plays and musicals around the United States.

She plays the piano and is learning the guitar and is currently working on her first album. She is also writing and editing a few short films as well as a children’s book. Thanks to her extensive education in the arts, she feels passionately about advocating for accessible arts education and is developing a curriculum based in creative mindfulness and play as a way to combat the negative effects of technological dependence in children and to extend the shelf life of the wonder children access so easily.
