718 Dance Collective is honored and excited to introduce:

The Helen J. Gardner & Carol C. Canty Scholarship

Named in memory of our founders' grandmothers, whose unwavering love, encouragement, and support nurtured a lifelong passion for dance, music, and the arts, this needs-based scholarship reflects the values they inspired: opportunity, creativity, and community.

We believe every child deserves the chance to experience the joy, confidence, and lifelong benefits of dance. Through this scholarship, we hope to make high-quality dance education more accessible to families throughout our community, ensuring that financial circumstances are never a barrier to discovering a love of dance.

We look forward to welcoming more dancers into the 718 Dance Collective family and are grateful for the opportunity to help every child shine.

Want to support this scholarship? Help us spread the word!

Because this scholarship is funded through a specific grant program, we are not able to accept public donations. The best way to support the program is by helping us reach families who could benefit from it.

The number of eligible students who apply and participate helps demonstrate the need for this scholarship and can increase future grant funding. More participation means more opportunities to expand the program and make dance education accessible to even more students.

In addition to providing scholarships, grant funding helps us invest in equipment and resources that enrich our studio. These purchases directly benefit scholarship recipients while creating an even better learning environment for every dancer who walks through our doors.

If you know a family who may qualify, please encourage them to apply and share this opportunity with others in our community. Together, we can help more children experience the joy of dance.
